Fantasy Peacock garden
I love the world of fantasy and the freedom it gives you when crafting, offering up endless ideas where your only limit is your imagination! Hello again, I'm so pleased you've stopped by. Below is my latest canvas featuring a peacock and flowers which I created from air drying clay and some gorgeous moulds that I discovered on Ebay at reasonable prices. The canvas is a flat canvas board and after adding the background using texture paste I then added my chipboard and clay embellishments with 3D matt gel for the heavier pieces. Out came the good old black gesso and I completely covered everything including my hands and forearms! The next stage was applying an assortment of Art Alchemy waxes which I've listed below. For the background and highlighting some embellishments I favour using my fingers to apply the wax. But in smaller areas I use an assortment of paintbrushes.
